Patriotism in the Park July 1, 2017
At Klingensmith Park right off I-44, enjoy a full-day community event with a pancake breakfast and patriotic tribute. Participate in the watermelon seed-spitting contest, flag golf tournament or horseshoe-pitching competition. A free afternoon concert, evening BBQ contest and the community-wide pool swim. Fishing and free games for the kids with time to wander around the new skate park. To cap off this city-wide celebration, sit back and witness an incredible fireworks display at dark.

Claremore Lake Park opens at 6 pm on July 4; free parking at Will Rogers Stampede Arena, shuttle service by Pelivan to and from lake. This year’s festivities are set, ending with a spectacular fireworks display at dark, located just west of the Coweta High School Stadium on Highway 51. It will be FREE fun for all ages and we encourage everyone to attend. Local band: Flashback, will provide entertainment by performing a variety of musical genres. Joyful Jumps of Coweta will provide inflatable activities. We will have food vendors, water cannon (partakers must wear shoes) and other games and goodies for the kids. Coweta Transit will assist with transportation from the Coweta High School to the festival site from 5 pm until dark and will resume after the fireworks display. Remember to bring your lawn chairs, blankets and cold refreshments, but please no alcohol.
Relax and enjoy the Independence Day Celebration on a boat or from the shores of beautiful Lake Eufaula. This event will be held at the soccer fields on the lakeshore. Things will start happening around 1 pm with food trucks, games and children’s blow up toys. Pick out your spot to view the best fireworks show around. There will be music throughout the day with Jams by DJ Timmy Ray. It’s a family celebration of our American Heritage.
Attracting tens of thousands of visitors each year, the Duck Creek Fireworks and Air Show celebration is spectacular. Enjoy music, dancing, great food, commercial vendors and the time-honored tradition of boats parading up and down the creek. Keep an eye out for the highly anticipated War Bird F-16 flyover, a loving tribute to the men and women serving overseas and an event that grows each year in the number of vintage aircraft deployed. Visitors to Duck Creek Fireworks will have the opportunity to view the airplanes up close and meet the pilots at nearby Ketchum Airport at 4 pm Secure a seat along the shore and watch the planes fly overhead as they make their pass over the creek at 7 pm The fireworks, which will begin promptly as soon as the sun sets, will be synchronized to patriotic music.
The 6th Annual Cliff Elliott Memorial Fireworks Show. Spend the day taking in the sights, take a tour of the dam, swim, and camp and enjoy the lake by boat. At dusk, make your way to Cherokee Area at Grand Lake State Park. Grand Lake Fireworks will take place between the two spillways on the Grand River Dam on Grand Lake O' the Cherokees, and the Grand River Dam parking lot at Langley will be open for people to park and enjoy the show.
Watch brilliant fireworks over Grand Lake at the Independence Day Celebration at Wolf Creek. This evening celebration of freedom is one of the most anticipated nights at the lake as visitors love watching fireworks reflected in the clear Grand Lake water. Wolf Creek Park features fishing and boating facilities so guests can enjoy fun on the water before they settle into their seat for the fireworks display at dark. There will be free shuttles.
Jenks is the place to be for the Fourth of July! The schedule: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Downtown Jenks. Live music, food trucks, a kid’s zone and free watermelon provided by the Jenks Kiwanis Club in downtown Jenks.

Oklahoma Aquarium backyard offers a front row view. The Oklahoma Aquarium open 10:00 to 5:00 then will reopen at 6:30 and offer half-price admission. Bring lawn chairs and blankets, no outside food or coolers please. Food and beverages in the Coral Reef Cafe’ and outside on the deck by McGraw Beach. Enjoy the exhibits, then, head outside to see the fireworks!
Celebrate Independence Day at McAlester's Stars & Stripes Fun Fest. This free, one-day event features live entertainment by the Sunset Band, inflatable rides and games. Patriotic Independence Day Parade! - July 4, 2017
Annual non-motorized/walking parade for everyone! No one is too old or too young to participate, (an adult with small children). Dress patriotic, decorate your stroller, bike, skateboard, wagon, pet, etc., and join us at Citizen’s Bank of Oklahoma parking lot at 9:30 am (9th & Kihekah) to register or pre-register at Pawhuska Chamber online. The parade will begin at 9th & Kihekah at 9:30 am, It will proceed east down 9th street to Ben “son” Johnson cultural and gazebo park. Complementary hot dogs, apple pie, and water will be offered. What a fun way to celebrate our freedom. Come and participate or just find a place to watch along 9th street.

Folds of Honor FreedomFest 2017 - July 4, 2017
Tulsa’s Favorite July 4th Fireworks Spectacular!
Visible for miles around, an estimated 80,000 spectators will view the Folds of Honor FreedomFest 2017 presented by QuikTrip from Veterans Park, River West Festival Park and along the Arkansas River. Spectators can turn to KRMG (740 AM & 102.3 FM) during the display to listen to the accompanying musical score. The 2017 fireworks display will be staged from the 21st Street Bridge.
