Spend the day in Grove and enjoy authentic Cajun music, Cajun food and a wealth of entertainers. Shop for beautiful hand-crafted jewelry or American Indian art amongst the numerous arts and crafts vendors that will be set up at this event. Feast on chicken and sausage jambalaya, or enjoy traditional festival fare such as hamburgers and hot dogs. The Arts, Crafts, Music & Cajun Festival has become a major event.
Attracting tens of thousands of visitors each year, the Duck Creek Fireworks celebration is a true firework spectacular. Enjoy music, dancing, great food, commercial vendors and the time-honored tradition of boats parading up and down the creek. Keep an eye out for the highly anticipated War Bird flyover, a loving tribute to the men and women serving overseas and an event that grows each year in the number of vintage aircraft deployed. Visitors to Duck Creek Fireworks will have the opportunity to view the airplanes up close and meet the pilots at nearby Ketchum Airport at 4 p.m. Secure a seat along the shore and watch the planes fly overhead as they make their pass over the creek at 7 p.m. The fireworks, which will begin promptly as soon as the sun sets, will be synchronized to patriotic music.
Come to the Grand River Dam to watch the spectacular Grand Lake Fireworks. Spend the day taking in the sights, take a tour of the dam, swim, and camp and enjoy the lake by boat. At dusk, make your way to Cherokee Area at Grand Lake State Park and enjoy this free fireworks show over the lake. Grand Lake Fireworks will take place between the two spillways on the Grand River Dam on Grand Lake O' the Cherokees, and the Grand River Dam parking lot at Langley will be open for people to park and enjoy the show.
Join the Fourth of July fun at the Har-Ber Village Museum Independence Day Celebration in Grove. Conveniently located near Grand Lake, attendees can play old-fashioned lawn games, hand crank ice cream and much more. Kids will enjoy covering their bikes, tricycles, scooters and even wagons in patriotic decorations for the Kids Parade. Tad Jones will be portraying Thomas Jefferson and Broadway singer Ron Young will perform the national anthem.

Visible for miles around, an estimated 80,000 spectators will view the Folds of Honor FreedomFest 2016 presented by QuikTrip Corporation from Veterans Park, and along the Arkansas River. Spectators can experience the full effect of this patriotic celebration by tuning in to radio sponsor KRMG (740 AM & 102.3 FM) during the display to listen to the accompanying musical score. For those celebrating at home, turn to KTUL Tulsa’s News Channel 8 to watch live coverage of the Fireworks Grand Finale in the opening moments of the 10 p.m. newscast. The 2016 fireworks display will be produced by Pyro Shows of Texas and staged from the 21st Street Bridge One of the Largest Fireworks Displays in the U.S. Staged from center of the Arkansas River, a myriad of colorful fireworks will be launched to heights of over 800 feet. In a blaze of light and sound, spectators will enjoy a carefully-orchestrated precision display reminiscent of the early battles of the American Revolution 238 years ago!
